Ok, I'll stop complaining about my nightmares. The last one started out innocuously enough, in which my dad hired my mom's favorite singer to do a private concert for her birthday. (The singer in the dream is not actually her favorite singer - his songs are super-cheesy. One was about otters, I think. Not in a good way.) The singer became my boyfriend, and we walked around town together. He shoplifted to see if I really loved him (?!) Inexplicable things kept happening. It turned out they were happening because he had an evil twin who could teleport via water (if he touched water, he could be anywhere other water was) and who was summoned every time my boyfriend touched water. And the evil twin was actually some kind of demon child created by Satanists and he was totally trying to kill me.

Fun times.

I am trying to figure out how a song can be about otters, but not in a good way.

It was about Starshine the otter who dipped her paws in a waterfall of moonlight. It was incredibly cheesy and over the top, and was clearly meant to be sung to a woman as a personalized love song. But my dad was sitting right there, and so the singer added in an extra character to be him. So everytime he sang about Starshine, he added "and Mio", only it didn't fit the rhyme or meter and you could tell it had been awkwardly tacked on. Like someone singing "Twinkle, twinkle little star (and moon!) how I wonder what you are".

Haha, I would be cringing uncomfortably if someone sang me a love song in which I was represented as an otter dipping my paws into a moonlight waterfall. And.."Starshine"? Were her parents hippies? I mean, who puts two nouns like that in their child's name--um, never mind.

Hey, your first and middle names are seperate. your Firstname Lastname combo is lovely, and the entire thing is not at all hippy-ish.
