It wasn't bad enough that J, K, C, U, M, S, and I were all out sick in the last week. Or that A and M2 are starting to feel yucky. My boss had to show us all up by getting swine flu.

Seriously?! Dude! Wait, does this mean the rest of us have swine flu, or something else? (After all, K, J, and A seem to have picked theirs up indepedently from each other in various corners of Europe, and S's seems to have been some weird allergic reaction rather than a bacterial or viral infection...I'm sticking with the earlier theory that we've got at least two if not three or four different things going around, compounded by bad HVAC down here.)

I'm still coughing, but seem to be in recovery, so it wasn't so bad overall for me.

It's not 100% confirmed yet, but his doctor's convinced and they're waiting for the last of the tests to come back. So the doc could be jumping at shadows, but it looks like there's actually a reasonable chance.

God damnit. That means that you're going to get it, because your entire office gets everything, along with whatever bird flu crap your coworkers brought back from Europe, and you'll give it all to me, and we can both happily be sick for the rest of the summer.

Maybe we can put the bird flu and the swine flu in a box and make them fight? Two flus enter, one flu leaves (battered and broken to be knocked out with a stiff shot of Vitamin C)?

The new leading theory is that we're getting some of this from the public bathrooms. I'm going to try to use the staff bathroom on the fourth floor from now on. Of course, that means going up five floors every time I need to use the bathroom...

Now I'm imagining something similar to the old lady who swallowed the fly, but with various flus... "They got the cat flu to catch the bird flu...they got the dog flu to catch the cat flu..." Just don't get horse flu, because the horse thing didn't end well for the old lady.
