Last night, we had some pumpkin ravioli I picked up at Zabar's. Olive oil, walnuts, fresh sage, parmigiano, and fresh cracked pepper. Soooo good.

The baking project of the week was bacon apple pie. I used bacon fat in place of some of the butter in the crust, there's crumbled bacon mixed with slices of three kinds of apples (Gala, Fuji, and Granny Smith), and I made a bacon whiskey caramel sauce to go with it. The sauce was delicious, and the raw pie dough was delicious. Hopefully, this bodes well for the pie.

Oh, bacon. So tasty.
