My five-year-old ankle boots were proven woefully insufficient this morning; I'm pretty sure the waterproofing has worn off the pseudo-suede. So my first action upon booting up the computer at work was ordering a new pair of online.

I know what you mean! I looked out my window this morning and was like "WHERE IS THE SNOW? THEY PROMISED IT TO ME!" I walked to work and still, nothing. I was almost inside when I got hit with a snowflake on the nose, and I nearly cheered!

I got a half an hour of tramping through the woods (Central Park is impressively woodsy when there's very few people around and you can't see the skyline). I'm happy!
