We had a power outage Saturday night. I ended up lighting a bunch of candles. Turns out, most of the candles I have are scented. (I didn't buy them - people gave them to me.) Fortunately, they're scents that go well together - cranberry-apple, cinnamon, and something harvest-y, maybe pumpkin pie. However, the entire apartment still smells like scented candle, two days later. And I just opened my bag and realized that that too smells scented candles. Sheesh. Powerful stuff.

This reminds me of the time that I burned Yankee Candle Company freesia, lilander and rose candles at the same time. TOXIC. It was like walking around with your nose stuck in a rose bush.

...lilander? What the hell, fingers? Lavender. Maybe there's a weird lilac and lavender hybrid flower somewhere...

Was wondering, wasn't going to say anything.

It doesn't smell bad, it's just kind of omnipresent.
