I finally finished the damn quilt. I'm really quite pleased with how it came out. A picture! The purples didn't really come out in the photo - there's a fair amount of purple in the sunflowers, and some of the patches that are coming out blue here are actually purple. Also not showing up - the very subtle metallic gold thread that's quilting the sunflower patches.

Overall - very pleased. Also very glad the thing is finally done and I can move on with my life.

Wow! That looks great - but the picture doesn't do the colors justice at all. It's WAY bluer than I remember the fabric, and that's a big part of the design.

It's very true - the photo skews very blue. We tried taking it a couple times, and this was the best we managed.
