I finally finished the damn quilt. I'm really quite pleased with how it came out. A picture! The purples didn't really come out in the photo - there's a fair amount of purple in the sunflowers, and some of the patches that are coming out blue here are actually purple. Also not showing up - the very subtle metallic gold thread that's quilting the sunflower patches.

Overall - very pleased. Also very glad the thing is finally done and I can move on with my life.

This is your first quilt! I think it is beautiful and quite impressive. It must have taken a very long time and it is a GREAT feeling when it is done! Congrats!
