Cocktails (no pun intended)

The bar down the street was advertising a specialty cocktail last night - the Eliot Spritzer. White wine, seltzer and "X-rated liquor".

I always walk past and see their specials out front. Some of the happy hour deals seem quite good. But I'm not the type to just drop into a bar. Perhaps we'll go someday.

Bars have never really been my scene; and the fact that we live three blocks away and have a well-stocked liquor shelf makes it kind of silly to pay for drinks. Also, at home, you can be sure the music won't be too loud, and there won't be any unpleasant company.
