Last night, I dreamed that I was engaged to my friend B. G., from my D&D group. This was relevant mostly because it was his car that I was trying to deal with. You see, we each had an apartment on the opposite side of the city from where I live now, and we were moving in together closer to the waterfront. The day before the move, I decided to call the city hotline to make sure we could get the U-Haul close to the apartment. When I called, M. (who is actually an IT guy at work, who's kind of known in my department for being relatively incompetent) answered. At first, he tried to explain to me the first steps of finding a new apartment. I finally managed to get it through his head that I already had an apartment and just wanted to know regulations on moving. He then declared we needed special permits for both the truck and B.G.'s car, which took 4-6 weeks to process. Of course, we were trying to move tomorrow. I was really pissed at B.G. for not getting at least his car's permit.

Chuckro, on the other hand, dreamed that he was dating Summer Glau. And they were happy and in a play together and she agreed with him that she didn't get to beat up enough stuff on the Sarah Connor Project or whatever it was and it was awesome. I like his dream better.

I love [livejournal.com profile] chuckro's dream. I can totally see TSCC disappointing her for not having enough shit to kick.

I'd apparently had some kind of walk-on role in Terminator 4, and I was trying to use that and TSCC to prove to some little kid (who was in the audience of the community theater show we were putting on) that we were cool.

This show, mind you, included [livejournal.com profile] wendywoohoo and several of my friends from high school. We missed the curtain calls because we were making out in the back of the wings, and I distinctly remember being confused over whether we'd done the third act or not.

Chuckro, I must say that you have very fine taste in women. But we already knew that.

That's an odd comment to hear from one's mother-in-law, when not referring to one's wife. Let me just say.

Well, of course, I was referring to your wife in the "we already knew that" part. But I'm such a big fan of Sommer's, that I think she deserves to be in the company of my daughter in the department of "aesthetic esteem".

See? Isn't this such a better dream than arguing over parking permits?

I'm not arguing that point. I'll opt for makin' dem big smoochums any day.
