Stomach, why are you in knots today? You don't actually have anything you're worried about...so why are you acting like it?

Subconcious, what's with all the nightmares? It's been three nights running now of bad dreams...exhibitions coming out terribly, rat infestations, people dying, vacations being ruined, radiation accidents, Chuckro being mad at you, dealing with visas going horribly awry, someone literally eating your arm leaving you to look at the stump in horror. What the hell?

Oh my! I'm sorry you're going through this. Maybe you've been experiencing so much happy lately that your subconscious is worried about that all ending.

That sounds about right. We can't just enjoy it, we have to think we're gonna have to pay somewhere down the line. Stupid guilt.

I rather hope that's not the case, 'cause there hasn't been anything all that fantastic, either. I mean, I'm glad we made it to our first anniversary without killing each other or something, but we're both still kinda stressed at work and nothing has changed recently. I don't have anything specific to dread, but it was a rough summer, and I don't think I'm in a super-bouyant mood, either.

It's like waking up feeling hungover when you didn't actually drink the night before - dammit, if you're going to feel this awful, you should have at least gotten to have the fun!
