It's so nice that it's finally getting warm enough that I'm willing to go running outside. I prefer running over exercise videos, but I really hate running in the bitter cold.
This is especially important given the number of desserts last night. Chuckro, his mom, and I had theater tickets. Unfortunately, he wasn't feeling well and bowed out. So his mom and I ended up at a restaurant with an impressive dessert buffet. (There was regular food, too, but really, who cares?)
Talk Radio (the play we saw) was an excellent shtick in search of a play. 75% was Liev Schreiber talking to people off stage, which was brilliantly written, acted, and lit. The other 25% was grafted on plot elements that didn't particularly work. The completely unnecessary monologues-for-no-apparent-reason by the other cast members were particularly irritating. And the climax was mostly "oh crap, I need a way to end this - uh, uh, uh, random crisis, breakdown, attempt to sound profound, done!" Ah well.
