My boss took me out to a goodbye lunch, since today is my last day with the company. We went to Brasserie 8 1/2, a trendy French-ish place. I had a shrimp carbonara first course that included sea urchin (very odd - so soft there almost wasn't a texture). And lobster ravioli with pinenut brittle. Pinenut brittle is deliciously awesome. And a poached pear with pumpkin ice cream, which I adore. It was a very interesting lunch.

3 more hours and I'm out of here. Oh, thank God.
