A blimp just flew by.

It's such an unbelievably beautiful day. I want so badly to be hiking in the woods somewhere. Or at least sitting with a book in Central Park. Stupid work. Stupid needing money to buy food.

I noticed that, too, this morning. It was cool, and the sky was endless. I got almost dizzy looking up and not being able to see depth in it because there were no clouds for reference.

Seconded--it's like that in Cleveland too, which means you're due for a few more days of wonderful weather. Hopefully it'll last past Friday.

I love that - that amazing endless blue.

Please, please, please. Our engagement party is this Saturday, and there's definitely not enough room in the house for the number of people invited...

I like the icon, by the way.

That was me, btw.

It's such a pretty color, too. Siiiiiiiiigh. Being stuck at work blows...

When you posted this, I was hiking. Mwah ha ha ha!

We hiked up to Ripley Falls in Crawford Notch. And it is gorgeous. If you were going to hike Mt. Washington, today would be the day to do it. It's so clear you could see for miles.

Am I to assume Crawford Notch is named after someone we know?

I am actually related to the Crawford it's named for, but not directly descended. My mom has a family tree showing the connection up on the wall here.

You know had you not commented, I wouldn't have realized it was beautiful outside. I'm only conscious of the weather if it's particularly dark. On nice days it's just, "Hey! Natural light! Sweet!" and then back to work.

I am so unbelievably jealous right now.

Oh, sweetie, that's just sad.

I like to think of it as practical. I can't long for it if I don't know it's there.

Alright, all this just justifies letting your sugar daddy go to the office while you have babies to take to the park. (**eeek!*** dodges slings and arrows from every conceivable direction)

Damn, so if I'd gotten pregnant a year ago instead of getting a job, I could be outside right now?

Way to promote responsibility, Mom.

Ripley Falls are awesome... I'm actually planning to hike Mt Washington Saturday. Here's hoping the weather stays good. Though hiking in a blizzard in August would be fun too :)

That is no longer my role. My work there is done.

Good luck! I'll be viewing you from waaaay far off. I'm in a condo with full view of Mt. Washington right now. We're watching the little cog railway trains chug up and down the hillside.
