Date: 2020-04-25 06:21 pm (UTC)From:I find that Castle in the Air and House of Many Ways don't quite capture the love I have for Howl's Moving Castle... but I was very young when I first read that, and read the other two as an older person.
But yeah, those would be comfort reads for me too. :)
Because I'm thinking of self-publishing, would you recommend #36? I see it gets 4 of 5 thingummies, but I'm wondering if it's significant value added from reading around on blogs and the like.
sending hugs and love!

Date: 2020-04-25 08:50 pm (UTC)From:So full disclosure - one of the authors of #36 is an acquaintance. I found it to be a very matter-of-fact gathering of a lot of useful information, including some very specific breakdowns of platforms and tactics for marketing. I suspect in a year, it won't be as useful, but right now it's a very up-to-date look at current market. (Other than B&N not really paying ebook authors at all right now, and that news is only a week old.)
