Which is how I ended up candying orange peel at 10pm last night.

(The recipe assured me that well stocked supermarkets would totally carry this! They do not.)

(On the plus side, the candied orange peel is delicious.)

I asked my mom for the recipe and she said it was totally easy! And then she described it and I realized that it was totally easy if you were home all day and could check in every couple of hours.
