Cupcakes

So a vendor who will remain unnamed, who I have no intention of buying things from, just sent me two dozen Baked by Melissa cupcakes and a hand-written card. This is a cold call--I've never inquired with them or interacted with any of their materials before. First thought...wow. How many of these things did they send out? Second thought...mmm, cupcakes. (I passed them out among my coworkers.)

An agent who I never did business with once sent me a fern and home-made brownies. And there was that guy who sent in corrections to our published book, and when we acknowledged that we would change them, sent us a huge fruit basket. Do work for us for free and give us a fruit basket? Sure!
