I've got one corner of the front garden that doesn't get enough light for much of anything to grow. I've been trying to find some kind of garden statue to put there, but I really don't have much of an idea of what I want. Surfing around looking at what's available, however, has left me with one conclusion--wow, there are a lot of people out there with really shitty taste.

Toscano's has an amazing amount of crap, but some of the stuff they have is nice, or at least, tolerable.

I'd looked. Nothing was quite right for the spot. The problem is partially that I really don't know what I want.

Lots and lots of gnomes?

Aaaaand no.

The zombie gnomes were somewhat tempting as a Halloween decoration, though. Maybe when ARR is older. Right now, I've had to assure him that all the skeletons are friendly skeletons.

Featureless black obelisk.

Shouldn't I be able to just make one of those by throwing a bone in the air?

I do believe that a flock of pink flamingos is a classic and tasteful way to go.

Dear God... so THAT's where cast polyresin goes to die!

Someone down the street has skeleton flamingos.

Our neighborhood is big on Halloween decorations.
