Eggs

Chuckro and I had our own Easter egg hunt this weekend. (I was feeling particularly childish, what can I say?) We went to the supermarket, bought 18 plastic eggs, and then wandered off to separately purchase candy and dried fruit and trinkets to put in them. Then we came home, and split off. We each got a room, filled our 9 eggs with the stuff we'd gotten, and hid them. Then we had to find the eggs the other had hidden. It was ridiculously goofy fun.

Our supermarket does not carry full size Cadbury eggs, woe. We have, instead, mini-Cadbury eggs.

This sounds wonderful! I wish I'd thought to do such a thing! I did get a chocolate bunny, though. :-)

Well, you could do a Happy-Day-After-Easter-'Cause-The-Candy's-On-Sale egg hunt.

I never would have come up with this myself--I only benefited from Jethrien's genius. And now we are once again the victims of OMG SO MUCH CANDY WTF!?

Yeah, everybody please come and visit and eat our candy.

The problem is we keep wanting a variety of candy, and that involves getting a variety of bags. Which then results in too much candy.

Mini Cadbury eggs are, IMHO, not cool. The ratio of gummy chocolate to SUGARY CREAM GOODNESS just isn't right in the mini ones.

That's what I thought, too, but it was all we could get.

They are cute.

Woe, indeed!
