When I left my apartment in Cambridge. It was raining. When I left Boston's North Station, it was a mix of snow and rain. I get to Beverly, it's snowing. I come out of a meeting. It's just cloudy. Oh how I missed "spring" on the east coast.
Me: Yay, off to precept!* (Ilana walks to the door of Scully Arch. Two girls stand there, looking dismayed. Sheets of snow are blowing sideways in howling wind). Girl 1: Holy crap. Girl 2: I don't want to go to class. Me: Nooooo the pretty flowers!!!!! (Here I contemplate digging a tunnel from Scully to McCosh, and instead go back and get an umbrella and sweatshirt layer, and brave the grossness).
Of course, right now, it's cool but perfectly sunny, and the snow that was sticking is now all gone. Weather = schizo.
*I may have actually thought "grumble...stupid precept"
It came from here! (http://www.usatoday.com/weather/wclipper.htm)
and I loved skiing there! (wish I could go back and get in some late season nordic action! (got my tube of Klister wax all ready, too...)*sigh* back to work...
