At my work, when we were having weird temperature fluctuations in our office (divided into 4 cubes), we set up a temperature/humidity meter and plotted out both for a few days. So we knew it wasn't in our heads!
It was a funny situation ... things would be pretty normal until around noon-ish, and then it would get progressively colder through the day and into the night. And our new officemate, poor guy, was really getting it bad because his schedule had him coming in around 11-ish and working into the night, and it seemed to get colder and colder while he was there.
Eventually, we/maintenance figured out what the problem was: the thermostat was in a corner of the room directly above the new guy's computer tower, and he ran his computer really hard, so it turned out to be no coincidence that the air conditioning was trying to make the room colder the longer he was working. We eventually got the thermostat moved, and all was well.

The end.
