Snow

ARR happily babbled halfway to daycare, watching the snow from behind the rainshield on his stroller. He really likes snow, so far. About halfway there, he started quieting down, but I figured he was still enjoying the show. I was full of pleasant thoughts about my son gazing into a world softly transformed yadda yadda and then I got there, and walked around the stroller and realized that the snow had completely coated the plastic so all he could see for the second half of the walk was a wall of white. Oops.

Apparently they passed around a bowl of snow to play with, though, and he LOVED it. Followed the bowl around wherever it went, wanting to play with the snow some more.

Well, if you come visit us in Chicago, I'm sure we can find plenty of snow for him to play with :)

Apparently we were spoiled by last year's "mild" Chicago winter. We've had snow and negative wind chills all week. February's not going to be fun...
