Little man survived his first party. He was cranky all morning, so I was really concerned that this was going to be a disaster. But he went down for a nap around lunch, had a little snack, went back down, and stayed down for the first hour of the party. Then he woke up, had some more snack, and was social for an hour or so. He was really only cranky for the last hour, which was about on par for a regular day for him anyway. So overall, he was cheerful and pleasant and it was awesome.

Also, I'm ready to declare success on the chewing front. He's been eating nicely from both breast and bottle except when really agitated. And tonight he fell asleep sucking and continued sucking while asleep after I'd removed his food. It was cute, but more importantly, I could really get a good view of his jaw working correctly. Huzzah!
