I cut my hand last night opening a piece of crab. Not deeply or jaggedly - a minor paper cut. Doesn't hurt much on its own, probably will heal in a few days.

But my mouse makes my hands sweat ever so slightly.

Ordinarily, this is not much of a problem. But today the sweat is getting in the cut, and it stings and itches and it's driving me CRAZY!

Mouse in other hand, maybe?

I'm ambimousterous - I usually switch about once an hour, or my wrist starts to get sore. So, sore wrist or itchy hand?

I really like that word...ambimousterous. I don't really have any helpful advice, but it's a funny word.

My dad's left-handed. I grew up using a left-handed mouse, even though I'm right handed. So at this point, I can switch back and forth without thinking about it.

(My brother's genuinely ambidextrous. If I remember correctly, he bats like a righty and throws like a lefty.)

And your boyfriend is insanely right-handed, to the point of only typing one handed. (Which greatly amuses all of his coworkers.)

Often it's the smallest cuts that are the most annoying. Perhaps run some icy water over it? (or even hold an ice cube for a few minutes?) Worst case scenario, go out at lunch and get some Aveeno and band-aids. And in the cold, small cuts can take a while to heal.

We had a WONDERFUL time yesterday. Youse guys are fabulous hosts.

And that's why my hand is driving me nuts.

Well, that last line answers the question of which mother posted this...

It's very flattering that you would think that I'm Mamma G (even for a moment.) Thank you!
