- There was a raccoon on the corner of my block last night, staring at me as I climbed the steps. Enormous one. Someone's been getting into the burrito place's trash.
- Speaking of wild animals, they finally caught the juvenile coyote that's been living in the basement at work for the last two months.
- I have discovered an excellent sticky toffee pudding. If I wanted to give everyone heart attacks, I would just serve the topping cold, as American-style pudding. (It's cream, molasses, demara sugar, and salt. Thickens up beautifully when chilled.)
- Stressful life is stressful.
- I think I got maybe 5 hours of sleep last night. Got to bed later than I'd intended, had trouble falling asleep because future will eat me, Chuckro managed to turn himself diagonally and colonize most of my pillow, was too hot, was too cold, sweat through my pjs and then was too damp, had nightmares that managed to combine ghosts and demons and an Alien in a Predator suit (it can plant alien babies in your chest, plus it's invisible! Oh, and magically telepathic too, so it can hear your thoughts!), then woke up at 5:15 and couldn't fall back to sleep.
- But it's almost the weekend, and then it's my birthday, and then I'm going to Costa Rica. Which I'm also stressed about, but at least it should be cool.
- So yeah, not posting much. Because can't sleep, future will eat me.
