Felt it in Boston, but I thought it was my officemate shaking his leg really violently under the desk. Was confused, went back to work.

My mum called me to see if I'd heard anything (she's out running around at the moment) because all she'd heard on the radio was "Ramapo fault line" and immediately started worrying about my uncle in Jersey.

We got enough of a rumble that I briefly thought the floor I was sitting on was going to collapse. I later decided that since we don't get earthquakes on this coast, it must have been someone moving something big in the next room. Nope!

It felt very different than the earthquake I was in in Japan; that one had a sudden dizzying sensation, not the feeling of going over rumble strips.
