Just got an interview for a business analyst position with some company called Financity. So I'm wondering to myself - why is it that I seem to be able to get at least first round interviews with the finance companies, but when McMaster-Carr (a company that sells supplies to mechanical engineers) was hiring for starting managers (a job I'm actually really qualified for), they give me an alternate slot? I was fairly annoyed with this, since all the slots were taken by the time they let the alternates sign up. So on a whim, I go back and check the schedule again. And a slot has opened up. One single slot.

I have an interview on Friday! Hurray!

...I know. A little sad. But hey, jobless graduating senior here. Starting to get desperate.

I would find it hilarious if you ended up working for McMaster-Carr. I've gotten multiple emails from them about jobs, etc and ignored every single one of them.
