Made it in to work, about 40 minutes late. The PATH and the subways are running, but erratically. I stopped on the way to help other passersby free a car that had driven into a snowbank.

The annoying thing is, I could have worked from home (most of the office is doing so) if only I'd had my laptop. But since there was nothing I actually could do from home, in I went.

There are only two other people in the office. Outside in the museum, though, it's apparently a bit of a zoo. (I haven't as much as stuck my head out the door since arriving.) Lots of people trapped in the city with nothing to do, and we're open. Short staffed, I suspect. We didn't even bother opening the special exhibits.

Well, no, we do need the revenue. But it was a rough day for a lot of people. (Not me; I hide in one of the back offices.)
