Ewww!

So one of my former coworkers is back in the city for a week on contract to train her replacement. She's staying at a hotel...which she has discovered has bedbugs. The hard way. The poor woman is covered in welts the size of her thumbnail. There was yelling and threatening and frantic promises of dry cleaning involved.

Eww, eww, eww.

I hope the hotel refunds her money. That's unacceptable. Not only is it unpleasant at the time, those suckers hitch rides.

She hasn't gone home yet, so she's got time to decontaminate everything. At least none of them have had an opportunity to get into her own house.

Or your office... The Time Warner building just had an infestation.

If I were her, I might just leave those things behind as are like to be infested.

Yeah, I read an article today about how most infestations exterminators are dealing with these days are in office buildings. Apparently that's the new bedbug (cubiclebug?) hang out du jour.
