Someone just buzzed our door to apply for a position. Like, our internal, inside-the-museum door. She actually went through security to hand-deliver a resume. Handed it over, and then wandered off. She apparently worked here at some point in the past, but doesn't work here right now. The person who opened the door was understandably confused.

I suppose it shows dedication and stuff, but it really feels more stalkeriffic than anything else.

I know there are some people that recommend doing that--getting into the building and hand-delivering your resume. I think that's nuts. If it ever worked, it was decades ago.

Heh :) I did something like that for my first job, but that was b/c the website wasn't working and I was told they hadn't received my application.
