OMG why is it not 3:00 yet?!?

Sorry. Having trouble focusing. The fact that one coworker is also going, and a second is being dragged by her boyfriend to Brown's reunion is not helping.

Also not helping? Bug bites. There is a mosquito colony in our underground office. I don't know where they're coming from, but they're eating us alive. I've got a trail of welts up both legs. I'm slathered in Benedryl cream, and I'm still so damn itchy I'm going nuts. I also am starting to look like I've got chicken pox on my legs. What.

Oh man. I was in the lab this morning measuring some stuff, literally jumping up and down while I was doing it. What did my measurements show? Not a clue. I can analyze on Monday.

Are you sure it's mosquitos? Have you actually seen them?

Well, there's where it gets possibly a little weird - we have absolutely seen the mosquitos, and squashed at least a couple. The first batch of bites on my arms were definitely mosquito bites. This second batch, I'm less sure of. They're redder, and missing the characteristic raised bit in the middle. But they're definitely originating at work - other coworkers have them, too, and our respective spouses and partners don't. I'm even more creeped out if a spider or something crept up my leg, biting me all the way, while I was concious and working. They're too big for bedbugs, and certainly aren't ticks.

There was a rash (get it? rash) of bug bites in another office at my place of work, and it took several exterminations to solve it. They didn't see anything, either, but it's what you're describing. Something really small, apparently, that thrived in a paper-rich environment.
