I was fighting with bird netting for my tomatoes this afternoon and almost melted. Will it help? Who knows. But squirrels made off with three of my tomatoes last week just as they got ripe, so I'm going to try.
I also keep churning through plants in the front bed. Something is eating its way through the huechera and started in on my White Feather hostas (which have been an disappointment, all told - the white went away almost immediately). I've got a bunch of diatomaceous earth spread around to try to save what's left, but I don't know what took out the fuschia. They just got crunchy very abruptly when their neighbors were just fine. And the next heuchera over is starting to fail. Sigh.
