What a difference a winter makes

ARR was getting up the climbing wall at the park in the fall, but with great difficulty. Somehow, suddenly, he's scampering up without blinking, hanging out halfway up, hauling trucks and friends with him. I took the Big Wheel he'd been struggling with down to the sidewalk. He rode up and down the block, and even figured out how to go backwards. The rate of change is not the exponential growth of that first year, so it's easier to lose track. But he's grown and matured so much in just a few months...
