- He has an imaginary friend who comes and goes. We have to make (pretend) baked goods for him. His name is Skeleton. No, I haven't asked whether all the muffins we've made Skeleton have fallen out his rib cage.
- A quote: "I made a new opportunity for Bulldozer down this hole."
- We were standing around in the park chatting while ARR busily dug up all the surrounding dirt. (It's compacted anyway, it'll probably be good for the tree roots.) He was completely ignoring us. Somehow the topic of carrots and rabbits came up, and Chuckro pointed out that Lyriendel had once told him that rabbits actually shouldn't eat many carrots, they're too sugary. At which point, ARR's head flies up and he gives us this look of horrified, betrayed innocence as his tiny world shattered around him. "But...but...rabbits like carrots. They like them!" I assured him that yes, rabbits like carrots. And he went happily back to excavating. Yes, I lied to my son.
