End of summer stuff

We had our company summer party thing yesterday, which was on one of the river cruises in the Hudson. Gorgeous day for it. Amusingly, we saw mithrigil and puella_nerdii's wedding site, but from the water. There was another bride and groom (tiny little faraway bride and groom) doing their own photo shoot.

My parents are visiting for the weekend. We're actually thinking of heading back over there tomorrow--I've never really walked around DUMBO, and there seems to be a lot of stuff. Cute stores, and something like four different playgrounds including what looks like an epic playground on Pier 6. We'll see if we get that far south.
