"Bubble" and "out". I think one of the fascinating things about watching language development is it gives you a pretty good idea of what a kid's priorities are. He can now ask to have milk, crackers, Mama, Dada, bubbles, up, more, again, and to go outside.

He also figured out what "nose" means, even if he can't say it. If you ask him to point to his head, feet, or nose, he gets it right. He's working on "chin".

Baby hands are one of the softest things imaginable. I wonder if we like the texture of silk because it reminds us of baby skin?
