Well that day didn't go as expected
Apr. 7th, 2014 08:57 pmI was dressed, Chuckro was dressed, Chuckro was about to leave in five minutes, all three of us were sitting there eating our breakfasts when suddenly for no apparent reason, ARR vomits everything everywhere. Entire breakfast came up. Kind of the worst possible timing. So Chuckro went to work a little late, and I kept an eye on the now-once-again-chipper little dude while trying to deal with a full court press social media blitz surrounding an article and a press release that all went live this morning (not easy with a toddler who really wants to help type). A couple hours later, ladymondegreen (currently my favorite person in the world) came over to look after him so I could get to a meeting with the CEO and chairman of the board. Chuckro came home a little early to relieve her. ARR? Had a mostly lovely day without any more digestive issues and no other symptoms beyond a slightly long nap. Oy.
In other news, we have a new game. It's called "let's pull all of Daddy's roleplaying books off the shelves". He really likes Silver Age Sentinels for no reason I can discern. He will pull out a mess of books and then sit down and patiently turn the pages of that one specifically. He doesn't even particularly like looking at the pictures--he mostly wants to poke the section headers with one outstretched finger. Meanwhile, his only interest in Mage and Werewolf is as a thing to stand on so he can pull more books off the shelf. And maybe sit on. I'm glad he's into RPG books, but we need to work on this kid's taste.
