End of the Year

It's been a weird year. Really weird year. Especially the timeless limbo that was maternity leave. At this point, we're getting better at the new normal (although ARR does keep changing things on us). It's a bad night when there are one or two wake-ups, not six. We can get some limited chores done while he plays around our feet. There's some semblance of routine. We sometimes almost feel like we know what we're doing.

Definitely one of the most grueling and stressful years I've had. But also one of the most rewarding. ARR is starting to really interact with the world, and he's thrilled. And so are we. He's an awesome baby.

Where did he put it all?

Our apartment? Not that big. Seriously. I mean, it's a very nice apartment for our area, but there's not a lot of space here in total.

So how the heck has ARR managed to hide multiple objects from me? Right now, I'm missing the bouncy ball from the laundry basket (for sheets), his nasal aspirator bulb, and a single baby shoe. I've looked under beds, in buckets, behind a bunch of stuff. No clue.

At least I found the purple plastic phone?
