The problem with maternity clothes
Nov. 14th, 2012 08:11 amYou know how every season, there are only a couple colors that are in fashion that season? It's not usually so much of a problem for adults--we buy one shirt of the It color and wear that shirt for a couple years, so overall we have a reasonably color-balanced wardrobe.
The problem with maternity clothes is you have to buy them all at once. But that doesn't mean there are more colors available. I just realized that of the ten shirts I own that fit, two are gray and white striped sweaters, and three are almost identical shades of teal. I guess it's good that I like teal, because it's 30% of my shirts at the moment.
