Hallelujah
Nov. 2nd, 2012 03:04 pmThe gas guys just came through. We have gas. So we have all of our utilities back, and while the food we bought (not knowing we'd get gas for weeks, from the really stripped down supermarket) is a little weird, we have food. We're good to go.
I still have no practical way to get to work. We'll see on Sunday afternoon what the situation is. The ferry is a possibility. I'm just...concerned. I don't look pregnant, bundled up. But my tailbone makes problems at irregular intervals and I get dizzy sometimes and I'm just not totally confident in my ability to handle 2+ hour commutes, especially since I think we still have a pedestrian curfew in effect. We'll see.
