Dammit, Gail Carriger!

I absolutely adore Carriger's Soulless series. And I'm really quite annoyed at her writing speed. She keeps writing events into her novels that have entirely too many similarities to my own novel draft, after I've already written them. But it rather looks like I'm writing a pastiche of her work now. It's my own darn fault for not writing fast enough. But I didn't copy the idea, I swear!
