I love my dentist
Jul. 22nd, 2010 10:34 amI switched dentists last summer to the dentist basically everyone in my office uses, after being unhappy with the work done by my previous dentist. I love my new dentist. I just had one of the old fillings replaced. (I'd actually gone to the new dentist to get a second opinion - he had offered to redo them then, but advised that he didn't think it was worth it at the time, and I'd be better off waiting to see how things went for a bit rather than subjecting my teeth to unnecessary work. When I went back for a checkup now, we agreed that one of the them was indeed becoming problematic and needed to be replaced. The other two have turned out to be less of a problem than I'd originally thought, and don't need to. I'm just as happy to only replace one instead of three.)
He numbed way less of my mouth than I've had done in the past, which I approve of. The work didn't hurt at all, but now I'm not lisping or worrying about biting my tongue. And the whole took less than fifteen minutes. They had me in the chair five minutes before my official appointment time - no long wait in the lobby - and the procedure took about ten minutes in total. It was amazing. He had reviewed my chart before I even got there, knew exactly what he wanted to do, and was just in and out. And the texture of the new filling is much closer to my original tooth than the first filling, too. Plus, he's really nice. I love my dentist.
