And the world makes so much more sense
Sep. 16th, 2008 10:59 amBetween one thing or another, I didn't get enough solid sleep over the weekend. I'd expected as much, and had timed my bus trip to get me home with plenty of time to get to bed at a reasonable hour. Fate laughed at my plans. All in all, this resulted in me trying to make it through yesterday with far, far too little sleep.
I finally went home a little early, tried to nap, puttered around, and went to bed at 8:30. Ten solid hours of sleep later, and it's remarkable how much easier it is to think. Chuckro had to rescue me yesterday in the supermarket - I was staring at a display of apples, absolutely paralyzed with indecision. I could not process thoughts well enough to choose a damn variety of apple. Now I'm kind of reveling in the luxury of being able to have two coherent thoughts in a row. It's something you don't appreciate until you can't do it.
