Dec. 17th, 2006 06:11 pmLast night we went to a midnight Buffy sing-a-long. Think Rocky Horror, only with "Once More, With Feeling". The actual show was lots of fun. The preshow stuff was fun...for a little while. But the guy running the place just would not shut up. Chuck's theory is that he started in Rocky Horror, and then began the Buffy sing-a-long because he wasn't getting enough personal attention with Rocky. Since the rest of the people running the event looked like they were in college and he looked like he was in his late 30's...yeah. Sketchy.
But we had fun.
Today we saw Shaw's Heartbreak House with Chuckro's mom. On one hand, the acting was good and the dialogue sparkling. On the other hand, the entire play was about an hour too long. It was like watching Smallville - a rising action, a falling action, and then eight denouements. I thought they were getting ready to wrap up, and suddenly the set changed for the first time in the play...and it went on for another 20 minutes. Eesh.
