I was going to write a nice little post about my dreams last night, which largely featured ice cream and really cute baby polar bears. And maybe something about eating the wedding cake in the freezer because we didn't want to have it take up space for a year, and then be inedible because of freezer burn.
But instead I'm going to rant about how I just got off an conference call whose agenda was mostly stuff my boss has been doing, and that I only have a vauge idea about what's going on. Which is unfortunate. Because my boss wasn't there. Apparently he had a doctor's appointment. Which he neglected to tell me, or the deal manager about. (He told the CEO, but the CEO didn't remember about it until prompted, and then said something along the lines of "Oh yeah, I think he had a doctor's appointment...or maybe that's tomorrow...") Of course, not knowing this, it wasn't until about two minutes before the call that I realized he really wasn't going to show up. And had to inform the vp of this. And then try to stumble through the call, faking like I knew what was going on, with no prep time, which led to informing an investor we'd sent them information we hadn't. (And I was supposed to know this off the top of my head how?)
Arrrggh!!!!
