Tiny party

Well, after our nerd party kind of fell apart, we ended up spending Saturday playing Apples to Apples and watching really bad Flash episodes. I must say, Apples to Apples is a fabulous game.

I got a 3D clock puzzle for Christmas from edgehopper. Chuckro and I started putting it together yesterday. The front is finished. The back nearly so. The sides and top...oh god. They're all brown. Every single piece is brown. The only vague hint is that the woodgrain has to go the right direction. Other than that - all the pieces look just like all the other pieces. This is going to take awhile.

I had yet another wedding dream. I got my makeup done and I showed up at the church (where we are having the rehearsal but not the wedding), and then saw myself in the rearview mirror. They'd done one of those jobs you see in fashion magazines - my eyes were completely circled in iridescent lime green powder. It was horrible. I sent the bridesmaids off with the photographer and ran into the church hall to wash it off. Two random guys I knew in elementary school were in the women's room. It turned out they were gay. (To my knowledge, they aren't. Also, they weren't doing anything in there.) They helped me take off the makeup and reapply something slightly more appropriate. I ran back outside, and the photographer was taking pictures of the 'maids in the woods. There was a pogo stick, and so I grabbed it and they took pictures of me on a pogo stick in my wedding dress. Then I suddenly remembered that I hadn't actually talked to the restaurant we're having the wedding at and didn't know what time we could show up or anything. But I was pretty sure we were supposed to already be there (20 minutes away). I woke up in a panic.
