You know what I hate?
Aug. 26th, 2005 10:55 amSupermarkets rearranging their shelves.
Our supermarket is in the middle of a month-long (so far) renovation project. But from the middle, it feels like they're just moving things around at random to mess with us. Every time you walk in, you have no idea where anything is going to be. There are boxes inexplicably blocking aisles, rows of empty shelves, things piled randomly in the back.
My personal favorite is when I went last night in search of blueberries, I discovered that they had ripped out a chunk of the refridgerators for the produce aisle. There were no blueberries. The strawberries and raspberries (acceptable substitutes) were now piled on a non-refridgerated shelf. And so were faintly fuzzed with mold and buzzed with tiny fruit flies.
Umm, ewww.
I really hope they finish this up soon.
