Bride of Frankenthesis
Apr. 22nd, 2005 12:54 am43 pages. I'm estimating at this rate it's going to be at least 55 in total.
I know no one really cares all that much how many pages I've written. But it kind of gives me a feeling of accomplishment to note the mounting page numbers. I'll admit that a lot of it is graphs and diagrams and pretty pictures. But some of those graphs took a looooong time to make.
The one nice thing is that it's turning out to be a thesis that most non-techies will be able to understand. Which I think I'd rather have than something super technical where you need a degree in the field to correctly pronounce the title. This way, my kids will be able to read it. (Of course, it's a ludicrous fantasy that my kids will want to read it. They won't. It'll be something boring that Mom keeps insisting is cool. But it's one am, and I've been writing for hours. Let a girl dream, ok?)
