I'm up to 15 pages.
I asked my advisor how long he was expecting. He said that 25 would be good. Ha! I laugh at your puny estimations. Ha ha! I don't know what he's smoking, but given the amount of stuff he thought "it would be cool to have", this thing looks like it will be closer to 40. Maybe more. Depends how big I make all the pretty pictures and graphs he wanted. I've written longer papers, yes, but this is definitely going to be up there in the most thought put into a project. Which is the point, of course. Anyway, I'm feeling smug and self-satisfied right now, which will most likely evaporate in the morning when I again come to terms with how much I have left to write and how many calculations he wants me to do.
But for now I'll enjoy the feeling. And tomorrow I'll call the Met and hope the nice curator lady has nice things to tell me about this dial.
