Chuck and I had intended to go swing dancing. Apparently Fate has other ideas. Chuck's cough got significantly worse as the day went on, and he wasn't up to it. We ended up deciding to go another time. This is as opposed to us deciding to go another time the time my ill-advised new shoes cut holes in my feet on the way home from work, or the time the freak thunderstorm blew up. Fate keeps intervening at the last moment to make sure we don't go swing dancing. We stayed home and played board games instead.
Saturday we had people over for pie and Kill Dr. Lucky. I love Cheapass Games. And friends. I love friends, too. Yay something resembling a social life.
This evening I went jogging in the rain. Maybe this will help make up for the peppermint patties in the fridge...
