Done for the night

The Nanowrimo folks swear their widgets will work soon, really. They sound completely swamped, poor people. The emails are something like 20 hours behind.

I'm still chugging along. Chapter 2 is finished with 7419 words written, two of the three major characters have gotten their say, and I've laid the groundwork for the major conflicts. Tomorrow we start with chapter 3, and the major complication the third character will present.

I'm over my word count goal and all is right with the world. (Actually, I'm going to need that buffer since I have a client dinner tomorrow, and so the only writing I get done will be if I have time at lunch.)

They need to have NaProDoMo. National Project-Doing Month. Because I have all sorts of major things I want to get done, and none of them are novels. But I'd love the community, and the motivational kick in the butt.
